Your osteopath, Lindsey Turner B.Ost (Hons)
Hi. I’m Lindsey Turner, the principal osteopath at Life in Motion Osteopathy, Stirling. I’m also an associate osteopath for the Glasgow Osteopathic Centre.
An experienced sports therapist, I qualified from Staffordshire University with a first-class degree in Osteopathy. These days, I enjoy using a combination of treatments to help you – these can sometimes include cranial osteopathy, kinesio taping or acupuncture (dry needling).
I’m passionate about the many health benefits that can be gained from regular physical activity. I used to compete to national level in equestrian eventing in my spare time. These days, I enjoy hill walking and getting out on my road bike for the occasional sportive. Knowing how important these activities are to me, I’m committed to providing osteopathic treatment for sports injuries (new or old) that may be preventing you from remaining active. I want you to be able to do what you love, enjoy your work and spend time outdoors without pain.
As well as general osteopathic work and sports injuries, I have a special interest in headaches and neck pain, hips and back pain. I love making sure that anyone who is nervous about or worried about receiving treatment leaves feeling re-assured, knowing about their issue and with a plan for what to work towards .
I understand that you may have been suffering for some time and have simply reached the tipping point where enough is enough and I would also encourage you to come and see me as soon as an ache or pain makes its presence felt. Whatever your circumstances, you can rely on me to be compassionate and to work in partnership with you to bring your body back to health and help you manage any future problems.
My approach is friendly, honest and clear – I won’t bombard you with jargon and I WILL give you a treatment plan that is realistic and fits with your life.
